Visitors may still walk the miles of towpath along the canal or wander quaint streets exploring the more than 200 art galleries, antique shops, boutiques and one-of-a-kind craft and specialty shops. Close by is the Washington Crossing, where General Washington crossed the Delaware to fight the battle of Trenton in the American Revolution. William Penn owned the original parcel of land that eventually became New Hope.

Peddler's Village, Buck's County's premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is an 18th-century style attraction.
